I want to start a page for Lenny. Here is a little bit about him. He came to Erie from a SC shelter with a unknown injury that has left his back end paralyzed. I was contacted to foster him when the foster he was in tried their best but it was overwhelming for them. I agreed to give it a try. Lenny has no bladder or bowel control so this was an obstical. I am still working on getting this part down but male belly bands work great for the urine part. At 5-6 months old this sweet boy is the best puppy I have ever seen. All he wants is love. If he goes to get into sone thing I say No once and he stops and moves on. I carry him upstairs to go to bed in my room with myself and my Lab Rocky and I lay him on his bed and he never moves until the next morning. As you can see in the videos I have on this page he doesn’t let this disability keep him down. He loves to play he will fetch a ball. He is just a playful puppy. He does tire easy because he is dragging the bottom half of his body around with him, but he definitely doesn’t let him stop it from keeping him from playing. I am in the works of getting him a wheelchair. Once he has this wheelchair, he will be the happiest puppy. He will have almost a normal life. my goal is to find Lenny the best home that this sweet, amazing level dog deserves. Please follow me on this page as I will have weekly updates on this sweet boy.
