It is with a very heavy heart that we post this ❤️‍🩹
A Good Samaritan brought in a female domestic short hair feline this morning that was hit by a car and unfortunately was already deceased upon arrival to our clinic. The female appears to have been recently spayed with a fresh shave on her abdomen with a spay tattoo also present, NO microchip and NO tipped ear. She is black and white. She was hit on West 26th Street by Auto Zone.

We will have her at our clinic so we can find her parents, please share so we can find her family 🙏

Hi , I’m Zeus…my human is an Army Veteran who is working hard to find us a place to live!
A whole bunch of love to the great doctors (also Veterans) at Wales Veterinary Practice Small Animal Division who made sure I’m healthy and up to date on my vaccinations!

It only took our friend R***r 12 takes to get the perfect picture. ❤️ On the other hand it only took one picture to get the perfect picture of our clinic cat Possum💕

We created a cute space in our waiting room for Valentine’s Day pictures. Come in anytime we’re open to take pictures and have some warm hot chocolate, coffee or tea and snacks on us!

Veterans Day appreciation to one of our very own here at Wales Veterinary Practice ❤️🤍💙

Dr. Amanda Bixby is a veteran of the United States military. She served in the Navy as an Intelligence Specialist and the Army as a Veterinarian. Dr. Bixby served two overseas tours, on the USS Blue Ridge and at Osan Air Base in South Korea. She retired from military service this year, and her family settled in Erie, PA to be close to extended family. Dr. Bixby loves working with urgent and complex cases, as well as performing soft tissue surgery. She also enjoys working with a variety of patients such as pocket pets, reptiles, amphibians, avian, and other exotic animals. She has a soft spot for working dogs. Dr. Bixby is excited to be a part of the Wales Veterinary Practice team and looks forward to working with you.

Wales Veterinary Practice also thanks all who have served and are currently serving.

We also offer a Military discount.
