Frankie (6 months) has had this toy since she was a puppy and treats it like it's worth millions. She cuddles it, carries it around, sleeps with it, and occasionally checks to make sure no one is plotting to steal it.

Frankie has also been promoted to Employee of the Month.

Her responsibilities include:
🐾Supervising all humans
🐾Monitoring snack distribution
🐾 Conducting random nap audits
🐾Inspecting incoming deliveries
🐾 Ensuring productivity is interrupted regularly for belly rubs

We're not exactly sure what we did before hiring her, but apparently we were doing it wrong.

I was so excited to receive an update from one of my puppy families!

Meet Blu…..then and now!
Payton/Doc

The first photo was taken when he was 8 weeks old, and the second is Blu today at 3 years old. It is so rewarding to watch these puppies grow into beautiful, loved family members. ❤️

This is one of the best parts of breeding and why I love what I do.

Thank you so much Elizabeth for sharing him with us! 💙

UPDATE:

“Frankie is home! She was discharged in good spirits, with a few medications to finish but overall excellent condition. We are thankful for awesome guidance from Diana and our Vet and hope that sharing Frankie’s story will help others to avoid Parvo virus or at the very least catch it early to seek treatment.”

EVERYONE please take the time to read this!

“Hi Families!!

We have a not-so-happy update: Our Frankie is currently in hospital getting care for Parvo virus. We are cautiously optimistic she will make a full recovery and be back home tomorrow, but as of yesterday morning I was fearful for her life.

Here’s how things rolled out: Frankie was her normal, playful self at 3:15pm Monday afternoon - eating, drinking and chasing the kids - and by 6pm was vomiting incessantly and had diarrhea that turned bloody. We took her to the Vet ER at 8pm where they ruled out (!!) Parvo because she had two rounds of vaccines already and they attributed her symptoms to a potential bowel obstruction. We took her home to wait and watch and she only worsened. Back to vet at 8am Tuesday morning where they tested for Parvo. When it came back positive they sent us back to hospital for immediate hospital admission to get IV fluids, monoclonal antibodies and gentle nutrition.
Parvo is 80-90% fatal within 48 hours if not treated with supportive measures (read: hospitalization). Scary!

The doctors update today is reassuring. She is eating, drinking and “acting a fool”. I’m heading to visit her now.

Do yourselves a favor:

(1) continue your insurance on your puppies - it has saved our family about $6,000+. Trupanion has been very helpful! We are continuing coverage through them.
(2) Always reach out to Diana if you have questions or need support — she has been a life line during Frankie’s illness.
(3) Continue to be cautious with your pups and take action quickly if they fall ill. Frankie already had two Parvo vaccines under her belt, had never been to a dog park, not even on a real walk, when she got sick. We think she got this from the wildlife that is in our neighborhood! So, continue to be careful with your pups until they’re fully vaccinated. This illness strikes swiftly.

I’ll keep you guys posted! These pics are from yesterday morning when she was getting admitted to hospital.”
