We have a few schedule change items for this upcoming week. On Wednesday we will be closed while both doctors are away. On Thursday we will be closing at 4pm, and on Friday we will be closed due to doctors away. Beginning Monday April 14 we will be resuming a normal Monday thru Friday Schedule. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while we get through several scheduling issues recently. If during a day we are closed you are experiencing a pet emergency, please contact one of the local pet emergency or urgent care clinics for assistance.

The bug that is going around caught up to our doctor. So today we will not be open for doctor appointments. We will reopen on Monday morning at 8 am. If you are experiencing a pet emergency, please call PETS in Lancaster at 717-295-7387 for assistance.

FOUND DOG: Female found in Berks County on turnpike near Casino. She will be with us for 48hrs then transferred to a rescue for placement. If you know her please call the hospital at 717-721-9890. We do not take in stray animals but special circumstances placed her with us for the moment.

Attention: Our office will be closed tomorrow, Monday March 25 due to our scheduled dr out with illness. We will reopen Tuesday March 26 at 8 am. We apologize for any inconvenience to our clients. *****DELAYED OPENING*****. Due to deteriorating road conditions this morning and for the safety of staff, clients and pets we will delay today’s opening until 12:30 pm. We will begin notifying clients shortly. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

We are keeping a close eye on the weather tomorrow. Some reports are stating we will be getting freezing rain and ice, and others snow. It's anyone's guess what will happen! However, regardless of what falls to the ground, we will be monitoring road conditions beginning tonight. If the roads get bad/dangerous, we will likely have either a delayed opening or need to close all together. Please keep an eye here, and if you have an appointment tomorrow with us, you may get a call either tonight or early in the morning notifying you of a need to get you rescheduled. Our goal is to ensure everyone's safety. That of our staff who mostly travel from long distances to arrive here and that of our clients and their pets.

Due to the weather and road conditions our office will be opening at 12noon today. We want our staff and clients to be able to arrive safely. If you have a morning appt we will be texting and emailing you. Those who do not have either will be receiving a call from our manager’s phone. We hope every and their pets stays safe!

CLOSED Monday Jan 6. Our office will be closed today due to the inclement weather. We will reopen at 8 am Tuesday January 7. Our goal is to keep staff who travel as far away as York, and our many clients and pets as safe as possible. Those with appts will be contacted shortly. If you are experiencing a pet emergency please contact one of the local Pet ER’s for assistance. They will likely be quite busy today if they’re open. We hope everyone stays safe!

We will be keeping an eye on the impending winter weather and changing road conditions in the morning. Due to the long distances our staff and doctors travel to get to the hospital we will either modify our open hours or possibly close tomorrow Monday January 6th. Please check here for updates.

And quite possibly a trip to the vet! Our upcoming holiday hours will be as follows. We will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. If your pet does something naughty, such as eat your wrapped box of chocolates, gnaw on the tree or a few ornaments, sneak into some holiday cheer or snacks- you will need to contact one of the local Pet Emergency Clinics on those days. This week for the Thanksgiving holiday our office will be open Wednesday until 2pm. We will then be closed Thanksgiving day and also on Friday. We will reopen Monday December 2 at 8am. Yesterday, to celebrate National Veterinary Technician week we surprised the team with a visit from Swartz Farm and their amazing animals! It was so much fun, and a great way to relieve some stress and just enjoy petting and loving some furry friends.
