We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween filled with more treats than tricks! We had so much fun participating in the Cole street event this year, this will definitely be a new shop tradition! Kimberly the “wiener dog”, Kateland the “golden doodle “, and Scout the “unicorn“ had a wonderful time and can’t wait to see more costumes next year ❤️

Happy Halloween! For anyone attending the trick or treat on Cole this evening that has the thought of “oh man, I hope none of the kids need to potty”, please note that April’s Pet Salon (1917 Cole st) will have a bathroom available to the public during the event. The Salon will be closed for business but open to trick or treaters and anyone in need of a place to warm up or use the restroom. Allergy and sensory trick or treat options will also be available. 🎃

Fun fact: All unsoiled cat hair generated at April’s Pet Salon is picked up once a month and aids in the development of allergy research! As an avid animal lover, who has struggled with severe cat allergies that required allergy shots to overcome, this one is close to my heart ❤️

Here at April’s Pet Salon, we believe that all creatures deserve to feel beautiful. We pride ourselves on our ability to work through behavioral challenges that come with grooming all shapes, sizes, and breeds.

As you can see, this groom started out a little stressful with a Krampadoodle (they’ll mix anything with a poodle now days) showing signs of high anxiety and aggression in the tub. Once the nerves wore off he settled in and realized we were there to help.

Krampus253 did a full 180 and was an absolute delight on the grooming table!

After his bath his coat was brushed, claws trimmed, hair clipped, and he was feeling so relaxed, he even wanted a treat 😊. We think he turned out adorable but the festive bow really completed his fresh new do, and just in time for the holidays!

Sometimes pups come in nervous (new place, new person, new smells, new sounds) and I find it best to give them a little time to sniff around and get acquainted with the shop. This little lady is showing her sweet side already by choosing to sit as close as possible. Time to start grooming! Maybe just a couple more pets first ❤️

This gentleman came in matted and frumpy. The glow up was so intense that his little human wasn’t sure it was his furry friend at pick up. “Mommy, are you sure it’s him?” Don’t worry, he’s got quite the lovey personality and his identity was confirmed by silliness and kisses!

We recently visited April's Pet Salon in Enumclaw when we needed my daughter’s pup, model ready for her senior pictures! They were able to fit us in and had the most incredible customer service. Super kind and listened to what my daughter wanted. Not only was Kimberly professional but you can feel her love for her clients!
We definitely give them five stars!
