Facebook just sent me a reminder that Becky's, Betty's, and my birthday is getting close. I wasn't sure what day the girls were born on, so we decided to say September 5th, and we would all celebrate that day. Miss Becky and Betty were our first two piggy rescues, and that's how we got our name, Becky's Palace. It's going to be hard to celebrate this year since we lost them both, and only a few months apart. We still are going strong and trying to help as many animals as we can. I almost let the Palace become a thing of the past, but I knew that's not what the two of them would have wanted. We have been a sanctuary for animals for several years and were completely self-funded. We became a 501c3 nonprofit about three to four years ago. Out of all the animals we have, only two of them have a monthly sponsor. If you'd like to sponsor one, please contact us, or if you'd like to make a one-time donation, a few links will be listed. It’s supper time and all of the kids were laying in the shade taking it easy until they heard the supper bell. They sure can move pretty quickly when food is involved.

Mr. Piggy said good morning and to get ready for another hot and humid day. Everyone try to stay cool and hydrated.

All of the babies got their first round of fresh cut millet and they were in piggy heaven. And there is plenty more coming.
