Hello Everyone. We certainly hope everyone is managing this supposedly short heat wave! We hope also, everyone keeps the animals inside during very “hot” days. It’s okay to miss a walk, take a dog out on a leash to do his duties and bring back inside or to ignore the “nagging” to go out as usual. These temps aren’t usual! Make sure there is enough water to support some extra drinking. Swimming is good for dogs in warm weather as it does lower their body temperature. However, there are still things to be aware of. They can get sunburned, they can overheat if they play/swim hard and waters can have more bacteria/algae with hotter temperatures. These are just a few little things to support “chillin" inside when temps are abnormally high.

Hard to believe, but the July 4th celebrations will be starting soon. Next week will mark 249 years of celebrating Independence Day! Food, Fireworks and Fun are all representative of the holiday celebrations, which humans love, but animals not so much (aside from the chance of getting into some human food)! Please take all precautions to keep your pets safe. Many holiday human foods are not okay for animal consumption, from corn cobs to rib or chicken bones. Keep pets on their normal eating habits or make sure you offer something that is really good for your pets. Fireworks are magnificent, but pets are not impressed with the sounds or the flashing. Provide a safe place away from screened doors/windows and you can even put on some music, if fireworks are near enough for them to hear and or see. If you have any questions, please check with your Veterinarian when it comes to keeping your pets safe.

Have a good week and stay cool while enjoying the summer season!

🦴 Does your dog listen... only when they feel like it? 😅

You ask them to sit, and they just look at you.
They walk great until a squirrel shows up.
Sound familiar?

Composed Canines is our basic obedience and leash skills class that helps you build better communication without the stress.

We’ll focus on:
✨ Sit, down, and place (the real-life kind)
✨ Loose leash walking without frustration
✨ Simple language to help you be consistent and clear

This isn’t about having a perfect dog — it’s about making everyday life easier and more enjoyable.

📅 A few spots still open — message me to join in!

You got a dog to enjoy life together—not to feel frustrated, limited, or embarrassed.

Whether it’s walks that end in pulling and chaos, or not being able to trust your dog around people or other dogs, it can start to feel like you’re constantly managing… instead of living.

The Top Dog Stay & Train Program was built to change that.

During their stay, your dog will learn how to be calm, responsive, and connected—even in real-world situations. We focus on structure, obedience, impulse control, and clear communication so your dog comes home ready to thrive.

✨ Imagine the difference:

→ Family gatherings without the jumping and barking
→ Peaceful walks
→ A bond based on trust and respect—not frustration

Your dog is capable. You just need the right plan—and a little help.

📲 Ready to reclaim your freedom and finally enjoy your dog? Spots are limited. Let’s get started today.
