Sasha is a former client of mine. Unfortunately due to recent work schedule changes and requirements she is alone all day and getting no joy out of life. I trained her several years ago and she still comes for occasional boarding. She is the sweetest little land seal I’ve ever met. She’s good with dogs, cats, kids, and most adults. (She might be a little shy to meet you but once she warms up she is the biggest wiggly cuddler! The following bit is from her owner. We have a wonderful dog named Sasha. She’s a little over one year old. She’s a Pitbull and Staffordshire Terrier mix! She’s an incredible dog. Loves to be loved and gets along with cats and other dogs. Not territorial at all. She has been trained, and if you adopt her, I’ve talked to the trainers, and they will do a transition training with you. She’s up to date on all her shots. We use Staerkel for a vet. And we’re looking to rehome her for the only reason my wife just started a new job that requires her to drive back and forth to the city, which means she’s working 12-14 hour days. Since my schedule is the same, we’re both having to crate Sasha for those hours, and we’re concerned it’s not the best environment for her. We’ve been brainstorming some options for what to do with her, as we feel this isn’t the ideal situation for her, and we were hoping someone might be interested in adopting her from us?

8/2/26 we are back home! Thank you all for your kind words and patience with us. We will be working on getting everyone that had a missed nail trim done in the next week or so.

7/21/26 We have had a family emergency come up and will be unavailable for training, boarding, and nail trim services for the next few weeks. I will be reaching out to anyone in our schedule to reschedule. We look forward to resuming services as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

If you are bell training your pup get the bells at hobby lobby. The dog bells are $3.29 compared to the $10 petsmart has them for! Same configuration. Same sound.

These are the messages I love to get! Shadow’s human called me a few months back absolutely terrified that her dog was going to bite someone. He would aggressively bark and growl at anyone who came up to their front door or into their house. Today’s update reminds me of why I love doing my job every day. Because the woman who was just about in tears when I met her, his jumping for joy at how good her good boy is. ❤️🥰

People are always asking me what kind of food I feed my dogs. In our house, we feed Purina pro plant sensitive systems, lamb and oatmeal. I understand that that might be out of some people’s budget and when you’re looking for something that doesn’t have chicken in it, it can be difficult. Today, I was at Walmart and decided to look at every brand of dog food in the Walmart food aisle. Pure balance, lamb and fava bean has no chicken in it so if you’re looking for something that is much more budget friendly, you might check that out.

A lot of people have been asking me what cots I use for dogs. I use Kuranda because they are indestructible. I’ve had mine for years and never needed to replace. They are chew proof and dig proof. Sometimes hard times happen. Zion is a young adult bully pup. His owners are having to make the hardest choice to rehome him. Zion went through training with me and is very sweet! He was good with dogs, cats, and kids. If you are interested in giving him a new home let me know and I’ll get you in contact with his owner or you can call or text her at 5043888619. Sometimes my job looks a little different. A couple weeks ago a tornado took out a local neighborhood. I posted offering to board animals affected while their families are getting their lives back together. A very sweet lady asked if there was any way I could help as she had lost her home and her cat was heavily pregnant with no place to stay. We jumped into action and made an indoor catio for her. Last night she had her kittens! I am so happy we could help this family!
