We had the best weekend at Branded Heart! 💛

Hannah came to visit us!! Hannah grew up here and spent over 15 years with us, one of our true originals. After moving to Tennessee, she started colts for about six years, and building a beautiful herd of her own now!

She’s loved our boy Jakota since she was little, leading him down more trails than we can count (and we’ve got the papers to prove it) and riding him through every season of life. From taking lesson to giving them, so many of our barn memories include Hannah, and having her back home this weekend filled our hearts right up.

We love you, Hannah! Come visit again soon! 💛

Throwback Thursday of Kathy and Leland!!

Not that long ago, Branded Heart had a summer camp like no other! We were hone of the original coastal cowgirls! Would have a full barn day and take lunch at Monnie & Kathy’s beach house and swim in the ocean! We had a blast being able to grow up at Branded Heart and cherish those memories! 🏄‍♀️ 🐴

We had a very busy day! It was BEAUTIFUL weather for a trail ride this morning and some fun around the barn this afternoon! Some of our little cowgirls practiced riding on their own, turning their horses, and even sitting the trot! Then to wrap it all up, we have two new little friends! 🐣🐣

🚨 BOARDER SPOTLIGHT 🚨

Carol was Kathy’s first boarder 25 years ago! Carol bought Cappuccino from Kathy and kept her with us all these years! Carol has brought her kids and grandkids to our stable for generations!

Cappuccino (aka Cap) has been used on the trail and as a lesson horse for years! Cap is a cool 36 years old, and registered! She’s from Chincoteague Island and loves calling Branded Heart home! She is motherly to our ponys and children, is a fan favorite, and keeps all of us in line💛

Mickayla - we are so proud of you! 🫶🏻

Mickayla started riding with us at age 9, so it’s really hard to accept that nearly 10 years have passed and she’s getting ready to graduate high school this upcoming spring, but we are so blessed to have been along with her on the ride! We are so excited for her future and know that there is only great things to come. With a cowgirl heart, there’s no room for anything other than success!
