Thank you all so much!!! We know our Walmart delivery person is probably not thrilled with us, but we desperately needed litter for our foster homes and we are extremely grateful for your donations! We are trying to sort through orders, but we think this stack came from supporters Sandy, Michelle, and our Lisas (Lisa, Lisa P, & Lisa D- You ladies win the name game today!).

Tiny Tiff & little Sunrise found their forever homes last week. Both of these babies came to us with respiratory infections from an overcrowded rural animal control facility who was facing euthanasia decisions due to overcrowding. We haven’t been able to help animal control as much as we like to lately, but we’ve pulled more cats and kittens from that facility than any other rescue in three counties and yes that includes our local large humane societies. Rural shelters constantly struggle with overcrowding. We’re doing everything we can to alleviate that pressure from colony stabilization through TNVR to pulling at-risk cats and kittens. We’re tiny, but we’re mighty and we’re intentional. We do a lot with a little and for Tiff and Sunrise that means whole new lives!

And help us welcome Turbo & Dasher to Fosterland. They joined us from a Port Charlotte colony on Wednesday. Sister Racer joined us from the same colony a couple weeks ago. Their feeder is slowly, but surely catching the stragglers. We’ve sterilized around 20 kitties from this colony so far. 🙀
