We're sad to say that the time has come to close the parks for Mud Season.
In order to maintain the beautiful grass, we have to give it a break while the ground softens.
We will keep you updated so you can plan for its reopening and our spring cleanup day.
We look forward to seeing you all again soon!

RIP trash can. While your time with us was brief, you made our park a cleaner place to play. You did your best, but that snow plow showed no mercy. 😭
Does anyone have a STURDY TRASH CAN, with a lid, they could donate to the park? If you would like to donate towards a new one, please visit our website for options and note what you'd like the donation to go towards.
We have one, but two keeps the operation much smoother and the park much cleaner.

We're so happy to be able to keep the parks open through the winter (so far)! Here are a couple of notes so you and your pups can have the best time and the parks stay in great shape:
-The parking lot is only plowed after a storm has passed, so be mindful of how deep the snow is.
-There is ice underneath the snow, particularly along the walkways and near the gates. It's safer to stand further out in the fields. As always, pay attention to the dogs around you and brace your knees to help prevent a fall.
-Dogs get thirsty playing, even when it's cold. Bring water with you. There is also a water bottle in each cooler in each park that gets refilled every 1-2 days.

The Mascoma Valley Dog Park Supporters wish you all a very safe and happy Thanksgiving!

WINTER PARK OPERATIONS are now in effect - We do our best to keep the park open and accessible through the winter months, but do close if needed for safety reasons (i.e. too icy inside the park, etc).

If you notice that it is getting dangerously icy inside the park and/or in the parking lot, please let us know so that we can take appropriate action to keep everyone safe. You can reach us here via Messenger or email us at [email protected].

The water system has been winterized, so please bring your own water (bowls provided), and remember to take empty water containers with you when you leave.

When it snows, the dog park only gets plowed once at the END of each storm event. If you drive by and the lot hasn't yet been cleared, please do not try to drive in or use the park as you will likely get your vehicle stuck.

Good morning, all, It's been a great summer at the Dog Park! The use has been steady and the pups have been wonderful at playing together. We've not followed up recently on something important to the park. So, if you have: Cleaned up dog p**p - whether your pups or from another dog, thank you....
