It’s been a pretty muddy mess out here and working with Maverick has been tough. He is getting better with me being in his pen and will allow me to stand over his hay bowl while he eats. Maverick now nuzzles my hand with his nose before he gets his hay so is learning that my hand is safe. He is still a little jumpy if I move while in the pen but we are getting there.
