HBG snuggled in, short-haired dogs require additional nutrition during colder months. We increase her caloric intake to add a bit more weight to her frame to help her through the winter. Her weight is normally about 60lbs for three seasons; we aim to increase it to approximately 65lbs for the winter. She burns that off within three weeks when temperatures start to rise mid-March.
