Our cats and kittens were visited by the Cat and Kitten Magnet and her family, who gave them lots of attention and love. Turns out, "All You Need is Love!"

Tarnished Hollow's owner, Brandon Holder with Samantha, and Maisie, stopped by the shelter to drop off some things for the dog park. Maisie and Brandon noticed we didn't have agility apparatus. They got to work building an adjustable ramp and ordered a hoop and hurdle. Our shelter appreciates their generosity so much. If you see Brandon and family, make sure to thank them. Also, the porch at Tarnished Hollow is a great place to enjoy time with your furry friend.

Just FYI we had a contained small brush fire out back! Someone called apparently saying shelter was on fire 🚒. Everyone including animals are fine! Thank you 😊

Some friendly reminders to help ease some of the phone calls we receive.🐈 🐩🐕 WE ARE A NO KILL SHELTER 🐈 🐕 If a animal is brought to us there's a 3 day hold if we don't know the owner and 5 days if we do. The animal isn't available as soon as we get it!🐈 🐕 We do not take animals out of city limits. 🐈 🐕 We do not take wildlife nor do we pick them up. Hoosier Wildlife phone number 317-647-5037.🐈🐕 Ambassadors for God's Creatures does free vaccines and they have vouchers for spay and neuter. You can reach out to them on their page. 🐈 🐕PLEASE call ahead to make sure we have the availability to take another cat or dog. Also if the cat is feral we cannot take it. 🐈 🐕 If you need to surrender a animal please try making a Facebook post to rehome cause you know more about the animal than we do! 🐈🐕 If you have a animal that is missing please private message the shelter page with a picture and any info that will help us get your fur baby back home! Thank you 😊

We are raising money for 2 organizations Elwood Animal Shelter - Elwood, Indiana and Heart of Hoosierland Humane Society. All money raised will go towards all these beautiful fur babies❤️!
