I think I speak for many small business owners when I say this — let’s not normalize ghosting the people you’re trying to book with.

When someone reaches out about a service, there’s usually a lot happening behind the scenes. Speaking from my farmer perspective we take time to respond to messages, answer questions, help choose locations, suggest times, and talk about dates while waiting on contracts and invoices to be completed.

If you change your mind, something comes up, or it’s just not the right time financially, that is completely okay. Most business owners truly understand that life happens! All it takes is a quick message to let me know.

What can be discouraging is when conversations suddenly stop after time and effort has already been put into planning. Behind every business page is a real person who values your time just as much as their own.

A little communication and kindness go a long way for small businesses. 🤍
