World Wildlife Conservation Day is today and we have to be aware of the heart breaking truth that is happening all around the world. In a time where there are plenty of synthetic substitutes, brutal slaughter of an animal to obtain pelt, leather, silk, wool, feathers is unnecessary.
Park rangers also get killed on a regular basis by poachers they’re trying to stop, and the local economies of entire towns and villages suffer terrible damage once enough wildlife is wiped out to make them irrelevant as wildlife tourism destinations.
Being a responsible consumer and uniting by not purchasing animal products will help save so many animals lives. They don't have a voice, we have to be theirs.
