Introducing CEDAR & FALCON 🐾

At just 5.5 months old, these two brotherly besties are already masters of the signature family pose ... the lie-down-and-big smile-at -the-camera pose, that is! Looking absolutely regal, like tiny princes awaiting their castle (aka your couch), these boys are making proclamations to win your heart! 💕

Falcon (tan and white) and Cedar (black and white) might look royal in their photos ... and yes, they’ve perfected their “noble pup gaze” ... but don’t let their elegant composure fool you. Their world is full of goofy pounces, playtime zoomies, endless puppy kisses .... and soon hopefully... YOU! 💙

Smooth. Soothing. A little warm on the soul! Just like the drink, our girl Brandy is all about comfort and calm ... with perhaps just a hint of playful sparkle!🥃

At just 10 months old, Brandy has already been through a lot. A kitten herself, she arrived at her last rescue already pregnant. And now? Well ... It’s Brandy’s turn to be pampered and doted on!

Brandy is soft, loving, and full of gentle charm. She doesn’t need a party, just a peaceful home, some slow head rubs, and a lap that feels like forever. 💕

Please say hello to DELA, the shaggy showstopper who has stolen every heart at the shelter — and it’s not hard to see why! With her dreamy coat of dreamy soft grey and midnight black, this 9-month-old beauty is like a living, wagging work of art. But it’s not just her stunning looks that have everyone swooning — it’s her soul. 💕

Fun fact: The name Dela means “noble” — and this girl lives up to it every single day. Kind, loyal, and just a little bit regal, Dela has a presence that makes you feel instantly at ease. She’s already showing off her smarts by learning a few commands, and she’s always wearing that signature Dela smile — guaranteed to brighten even your gloomiest Monday.

She adores her toys (especially the squeaky kind!), but her real joy comes from connecting with the people around her. Whether she’s snuggling up or trotting by your side, Dela is all about you. Attentive, affectionate, and wise beyond her puppy months, she’s the kind of dog who doesn’t just become your pet — she becomes your person.

Next up is Geri, one of our incredible volunteers who know no bounds!!! 💕

From our roving "Faces"camera guy, Andy: "This multi-functioned volunteer is Geri. Some of the roles she plays at the rescue are: providing (at her own time and expense) cooked, cut-up chicken in dated containers for our dogs; helping to lead the regular nose work sessions; filling and freezing toys with peanut butter; cleaning the meet-and-greet rooms; doing vet runs; spending welcome time with our cats and even fostering some of them. A big thank you, Geri, for all you do for all of us. "🐾

Whether it’s helping a pet in need or lending a hand to a fellow human, Geri is all in with heart, humor, and unmatched dedication. She’s a vital part of everything we do, from day-to-day rescue efforts to the success of every event we host. Geri is often the first smiling face guests see, welcoming everyone with warmth and making sure they know they're part of something truly special. We’re beyond grateful for her energy, compassion, and the compassion she brings to PCAR! TY Geri!!! ⭐️

When an update gives you some .... you can hear the collective hearts singing 🎶 from our volunteers and staff who are part of Panther's fan club! 🥰

That’s right — our beloved Panther is now living his best life as Norman (yes, NORMAN! 💙), and his update has us absolutely swooning.: "Good morning, “Panther” now Norman is settling in very well. He is enjoying his long morning walks around the neighborhood, gets the zoomies in his back yard after lounging in his pool, expertly de-squeaks his toys, and is the best at snuggles. He is still learning some walking/neighborhood manners, but is a good listener and making strides everyday. Here are a few of my favorite photos so far. Thank you for checking in -Kate and Norman". 💕

Norman waited so patiently for his forever person… and wow, did she show up. 🥰 It was mutual love at first sight, and we are beyond grateful.

Introducing Brighton, Coney, and Montauk — three sunshine-soaked siblings bringing the perfect summer vibes to Paws Crossed! These nearly 5-month-old pups give us everything we love about New York beaches: the excitement of a boardwalk, the joy of sandy zoomies, and the soothing calm you get when you hear waves rolling in. 🐾🌴

With big beachy personalities and hearts full of love, these cuties are ready to bring warmth and wiggles to their forever homes. And stay tuned — their adorable siblings Jones and Kismet will be making their debut soon! 🐶💙

Please Meet KABOCHA- Named after the Japanese word for a sweet, velvety pumpkin, Kabocha is every bit as soft and soulful as her name suggests. This two-year-old gentle gal arrived at Paws Crossed timid and unsure, like a whisper in the wind. And while public speaking with large groups still may not quite be her thing, she’s quietly blossomed into a curious companion who loves meeting new people—especially if you come bearing snacks and good vibes! 🧀

At first glance, Kabocha might greet you with her signature serious face, but give her a moment—and a treat or two—and you’ll be rewarded with the kind of smile that could melt steel. She’s got a gorgeous and genuine heart-shaped head, marshmallowy manners, and when playtime comes around ... she shines! ... she becomes a graceful blur of fun, sprinting through the yard with pure joy and tagging her friends to try and keep up! ⭐️
