🐾 I'm sorry if it feel like we are asking too much.. but we are not asking for a handout. We are not petitioning for a new tax or fee. We are asking for a Foundation of voluntary donors. 🐾

CHASE does not need luxury.
CHASE does not have paid staff.
CHASE does not need thousands and thousands of dollars to waste.

What we need is steady monthly support so the dogs in our care can continue receiving food, vaccines, vet care, clean kennels, transportation, and daily care.

In order to keep our rescue open, we need a minimum of $800 more monthly donors to just survive and keep accepting dogs and stay stable.

That could be:
🐾 400 people giving $2/month
🐾 80 people giving $10/month
🐾 32 people giving $25/month
🐾 16 people giving $50/month
🐾 8 businesses, families, or generous donors giving $100/month

We had been saving for a large free-run dog park. Now those savings are being used to keep the rescue open while we adopt out as many dogs as possible, and this only gives us about 5 months of runway for staying open.

This is not where we hoped to be.
But this is where we are.

If you believe CHASE should stay open for the dogs who have nowhere else to go, please become a monthly supporter today.

CHASE is a 501(c)(3), so donations may qualify as tax-deductible as allowed by law.

🐾 They Don’t Know the Funding Changed 🐾

The dogs at CHASE do not know that our funding changed.
They do not know we lost 83% of our recurring monthly support in one month.
They do not know our monthly support dropped from $1,200 to $200.

They only know that every morning, they are waiting for food, clean water, clean kennels, care, attention, and the hope of a family.

Now we need to raise $800/month in recurring donations to keep CHASE stable and operating.

We are committed to the dogs already here.
They will not be abandoned.
They will not be forgotten.
They will not be treated like numbers.

But without recurring support, we may not be able to take in any new dogs — even as adoptions happen — because we have to make sure we can care for the ones already depending on us.

Monthly support matters:
🐾 $2/month increases our recurring support by 1%
🐾 $10/month helps keep adoption tools active
🐾 $25/month helps with food or vaccines
🐾 $50/month helps cover adoption-event fuel
🐾 $100/month sponsors a kennel space — whether from a business, family, or generous donor

If you can give monthly, please do.
If you cannot give, please share.

Someone on your friends list may be one of the 32 people we need.

🐾 Due to an abrupt change, CHASE urgently needs monthly support to stay open 🐾

First, we want to sincerely thank Elmore City for helping CHASE Dog Rescue get started this past year.

Their support helped us care for dogs, attend adoption events, purchase supplies, and build a stronger foundation for local animal rescue.
Unfortunately, due to Elmore City’s budget constraints, that financial support is ending after next month.

Because of this change, CHASE has lost 83% of our recurring monthly support. We have gone from $1,200/month to $200/month, and we now need to raise $800/month in recurring donations to keep CHASE stable and operating.
Even $2, $10, or $25/month can help keep the doors open.

We currently have 16 dogs in our care who still need food, vaccines, vet care, cleaning supplies, transportation, and daily care.

This is especially hard because we had been saving toward fencing for a large free-run dog park — a place where the dogs could run, play, decompress, and simply enjoy being dogs.

Instead, we are now having to use those rescue savings to hold out as long as we can while we work to adopt out as many dogs as possible.

Amy and I personally donate well over 100 hours every month caring for the dogs, cleaning kennels, transporting animals, attending adoption events, and handling the daily work of the rescue.

But time alone cannot buy food, pay vet bills, or keep the rescue operating.
Our goal this year was to raise $800/month in additional recurring donations so CHASE could finally start thriving instead of just surviving.

Now, that same goal may determine whether we can stay open at all.
At this point, we are worried about our ability to take in any new dogs, even as adoptions happen, because we do not know what our long-term sustainability looks like.

No matter what, the dogs currently in our care will not be abandoned or forgotten.
But we need our community now.

Monthly gifts make a real difference:
🐾 $2/month might only buy a gas station drink, but for CHASE, it increases our monthly recurring support by 1%.
🐾 $10/month helps cover our monthly website/adoption tools so dogs can be seen by potential adopters.
🐾 $25/month helps cover most of a bag of dog food or basic vaccine supplies.
🐾 $50/month helps cover fuel to get dogs to adoption events where they can find homes.
🐾 $100/month sponsors a kennel space — whether from a local business, family, or generous individual donor.

If 32 people give $25/month, CHASE reaches the goal.
If 8 businesses or generous donors give $100/month, CHASE reaches the goal.

CHASE Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3), so donations from individuals and businesses may qualify as tax-deductible contributions as allowed by law.
If you believe our community needs CHASE Dog Rescue, please become a monthly supporter today.

And if you cannot give, please share this post. Sharing may be what helps us find the person or business who can.
This is not the end of CHASE, but it is a crucial turning point.

🐾 Help us keep the doors open for the dogs who need us most.

🐾 379 Days With CHASE. Over 760 Days Waiting for a Home. Jasmine Has Waited Long Enough. 🐾

Today marks over one full year since Jasmine came into CHASE Dog Rescue.

She and Jumper are now officially our longest stay dogs, both having been with us since 04/28/2025 — and before that, we know they spent over a year in the Elmore City pound.

We estimate Jasmine was born sometime around 2022, during the height of COVID… and honestly, we don’t know if she has ever truly known what it feels like to belong to a safe, loving home.

And that hurts to think about, because Jasmine is one of the gentlest dogs we have ever met.

She loves to cuddle.
She loves quiet affection.
She melts into you when she finally feels safe enough to relax.

She isn’t loud. She doesn’t demand attention. She just quietly waits and hopes someone notices her.

The heartbreaking reality is that many shelters would have already euthanized a dog after this long without adoption. We want to be honest about that — because her story matters.

But CHASE will not be giving up on Jasmine.

Still… we don’t want her crossing year after year in rescue becoming “normal.” Dogs are not meant to spend their lives waiting behind kennels wondering why nobody chose them.

So today we’re asking — genuinely — for help.

Please share Jasmine.
Please talk about her.
Please help us find the person who is meant to love her.

We are praying her forever family is out there somewhere. ❤️

If you are interested in meeting Jasmine or learning more, send us a message. We will do whatever is needed to get her to you!

🐾 Community Support Spotlight – Meet Tony! 🐾

This sweet boy is named Tony, and while he is not part of CHASE Dog Rescue, a member of our community reached out asking for help finding him the right home — and we were happy to help spread the word.

Tony is a mixed breed male who is:
✔ Neutered
✔ Up to date on a 3-month flea & tick treatment
✔ Very people-friendly
✔ Good with other dogs
✔ Knows a few basic commands
✔ Walks well on a leash

Honestly, he sounds like the kind of dog who just wants to hang out with his people and be included in everyday life. ❤️

That said, Tony does have a strong prey drive and needs a home without chickens or cats. He has a history of chasing cats and hurting chickens, so we want to be upfront and help him land somewhere he can truly succeed.

If you’re looking for a friendly, well-mannered companion and think Tony might be a fit for your home, send us a message and we’ll connect you with his owner directly.

Sometimes helping dogs just means helping neighbors find the right match. 🐶

🎉 Ronnie Found His Forever Home! 🐾
Big news… Ronnie has been adopted!!!!

This steady, quiet soul finally found the place he’s been waiting for—the kind of home where his calm presence and gentle nature can truly shine. Ronnie was the kind of dog who didn’t demand attention, but the moment you noticed him, you felt it. And now, someone saw exactly what made him so special

From sharing kennel space with respect and balance, to patiently waiting for his turn, Ronnie showed us that strength doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. And now, he gets to bring that same peace and companionship into a home of his own
To Ronnie’s new family—thank you for seeing him, choosing him, and giving him the life he deserves
And to Ronnie… enjoy every moment of the life you’ve been waiting for. You earned it!!!

Adoptable Dog - Sunny

🐾 Quiet Strength, Steady Heart 🐾

I’m a big, steady presence with a warm heart and a confident soul 💛. I show affection in my own quiet way—expressive without being loud, calm without being distant. I don’t bark much… because I don’t need to. I walk into new spaces with confidence and let my actions speak for me 🐶✨

About two years ago, my sister and I were found wandering the streets of Elmore City and brought into the local pound. We waited there for over a year, side by side, until our lives finally changed. In March of this year, we entered rescue together 🌱. For three months, I learned what it meant to belong—to have routines, structure, and a place in a family. Unfortunately, that chapter didn’t last… but what I learned stayed with me.

Now, at 3–4 years old, I’m back—and this time, I’m ready for something permanent 🏡. I’m a gentle giant who understands boundaries, respects the pack, and carries himself with quiet confidence. I believe strength and softness can live in the same heart—and I’m just waiting for a home that sees that too 🤍
