My heart will always miss Mack. He was an incredible horse that we ALL loved. Sometimes I love watching videos of him and other days I just can’t and I'm sure a lot of you can relate. He was the reason this rescue and sanctuary began. Many days we feel overwhelmed between jobs and the rescue and feel like we our letting Mack down as we constantly struggle. But we will never give up.
I love this photo of Christine and her daughter. Christine has been a huge blessing to the rescue. I need to post more photos of visitors!
We’ve asked a lot of you all this last week to get Gracie’s bill covered and we/you did it! You all are amazing and we can’t thank you all enough. We have received $560 extra! This allowed us to purchase Bermuda square bales this week to help get us by until we can have the some good round bales delivered.
We have another huge ask this week. We need to reduce risk of hay impaction colic by finding the smallest stalks possible. We found some Bermuda hay with small stalks located in Stephenville which is 1.5 hours from us. We can get up to 38 bales at $80 each and delivery will be $300. Can anyone sponsor a bale, 1/2 a bale or even 1/4? It would mean a lot for us to not have to worry and know we have good hay for the next two months.
We also need chopped alfalfa. We are down to the last bag. Chopped alfalfa is important to our seniors that don’t have many teeth.
If anyone would Iike to purchase directly I will post a link to Tractor Supply. We can pick up in Waco Texas on Valley Mills drive. My cell is 2544954923. We would just need the order number for pick up.
As always may the Good Lord Bless you all.
We will go live today. Tim didn’t get home until after 10pm last night and I’m having a busy photography week.
