☀️Memorial Day + National Heat Safety Day = a critical reminder for pug parents!

As we honor our heroes this Memorial Day and kick off the unofficial start of summer, we also want to remind everyone that today is National Heat Safety Day—and for flat-faced breeds like pugs, heat is more than uncomfortable…it can be deadly!

🐾 Pugs can overheat FAST due to their short snouts and compromised airways.

Ways to keep them safe:
🚫 No walks during peak heat (stick to early morning or late evening)
🚙 Never leave your pug in a parked car—not even for a minute!
🌳 Provide shade and fresh water at all times
💧 Cool, indoor rest is always best on hot days

Let’s keep our pugs safe, cool, and snuggly all summer long. 💙
