Have dealt with "problem" horses, as well as offering tune-ups for those that need it. Competed in hunt-seat, flat and over fences, and barrel racing. Offering traveling horse training and lesson services within 30 minutes of Zebulon, NC. Will travel further for added travel fee. Can offer references if needed.

Haney Performance Horses currently has openings in our training program! We have one opening for a travel training client, and one spot open for a boarding training client. We will travel up to one hour from Elm City (travel fees apply based on location) for travel training.
Training board is located on our farm in Elm City, and includes board, feed, and training. Our facilities offer multiple grass pastures, barns with large stalls, a grass round pen, grass riding ring, and large sand arena.

Haney Performance Horses now has one opening available for training at our facility in Elm City, NC! We have over 15 years riding and training experience in various disciplines, and can help with groundwork, re-starting horses, fixing new/recurring problems, and putting miles on inexperienced horses. We have worked with horses of many different breeds, ages and backgrounds. Prices start at $500/month, but can be customized to fit your needs. I haven't posted an update on Cavill's training in a while, so this video is a little older. This was probably our 5thish ride, and he has definitely gotten more confident under saddle. We still have plenty of work to do, but I'm happy with his progress so far. This is just a few snippets from our ride that day 😊

Just put in the first ride on Cavill (no videos because my phone is stupid 🙄). He did amazing! No bucking, rearing, or sillyness. His biggest vice was not wanting to move from pressure and walk for more than a few steps. By the end of our session he was doing much better, and we were getting full circles in the round pen without stopping. I couldn't get a trot out of him today, but I didn't push too hard. I didn't want to ruin our first ride by asking for more than he was willing to give. Overall, I am super pleased with this boy and much more confident about our future! 😊❤️

What makes a rainy day better? Being able to submerge your entire head into a new round bale of hay. 🤷🏼‍♀️
