📣 Barn Feeder Positions Open – Part time/ Long-Term Opportunity | Morning & Weekend Shifts📣

We’re excited to officially reopen applications for feeder positions at Old Stallion Hill!

As school is starting back up and some of our current help is leaving for college, we are looking to add a few dependable, long-term team members to our barn staff.

We had an amazing turnout the last few times we opened applications, and we’re excited to welcome new applicants again!

🕒 Positions Available:

🌅 Monday–Friday AM Shift:
Approx. 2 hours

🌅 Weekend Availability:
AM and PM shifts available (feeding, turnout, and bringing horses in)

We are specifically looking for individuals interested in a consistent, long-term position rather than short-term or temporary help.

🔧 Duties Include:
• Feeding horses, administering supplements
• Turn horses in and out
• Filling and dumping water troughs/ buckets
• Must be able to think for yourself and outside of the box at times

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable!!!!
• Comfortable handling horses independently
• Able to work in ALL weather conditions
• A strong communicator

Horse experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is eager to learn and committed to the position.

Today we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and the time spent with family, friends, and the traditions that make the Fourth of July so special.

As the fireworks light up the sky tonight, we're also thinking of all the horses and animals who may not understand the excitement. We hope they stay safe, calm, and well cared for throughout the holiday.

This heat isn't just uncomfortable for us—it can be dangerous for our horses too. Take a minute to check the heat index before you ride, make sure your horses have plenty of fresh water, shade, and time to cool down.
When in doubt, skip the ride.

There will always be another day, but your horse's health comes first. ❤️

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and keep an eye out for the signs of heat stress!

🥇Chaser🥇

Chaser is a 16 year old stubborn ex-racehorse with a heart of gold! He raced all across the east coast for 8 years before Makenzie adopted him for a life of leisure on trails. Chaser found new passions in jumping, dressage, and learning to be a horse. He’ll do anything for a treat (especially donuts) and to be with his pasture mates! He is beyond grateful to call Old Stallion Hill his forever home and its people his family 🤍

Rayna is a cow-bred mare and shows up for you in every way possible. Whether it’s ranch, gaming or just some laid-back backyard fun, she always gives 100% and never quits. Her versatility is something special, and she’s got the kind of mind that makes you appreciate her more every ride.

She definitely has her sassy moments—but what mare doesn’t? 😉 And honestly, she has come such a long way since I first got her. Watching her grow and settle into herself has been so rewarding.

Most days she’s sweet, willing, and all heart… with just a touch of “feral” to keep things interesting. And that personality? It’s exactly why everyone loves her.
