Feline Friends of Ellwood City Low cost spay and neuter for cats. We are very happy to announce that we have recently obtained our 501c(3) non profit status!

The mission of Feline Friends of Ellwood City is to reduce feline overpopulation and illness in Ellwood City and the surrounding communities. By partnering with Animal Friends and other local veterinarians we are able to provide low cost spay, neuter, and vaccination programs for cats.

CAT SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC: Feline Friends of Ellwood City is holding a spay/neuter clinic on SUNDAY, MAY 31. The cost is $85.00 CASH, and also includes a rabies vaccination and 30-day flea preventative. We have openings for both males and females, although female appointments are limited. 2026 Dog licenses are available for Lawrence County

All Dogs MUST be on a leash and under control.
**If your dog is aggressive towards people or other dogs, please LEAVE your dog in your vehicle and come to check-in.

NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES

All cats MUST be in a carrier.
**If your cat is not in a carrier, please LEAVE your cat in your vehicle and come to check-in.

No nose to nose contact between animals.

Please do not pet or handle other peoples pets. Disease is too easily spread.

This low cost vaccination clinic should not replace routine vet care. We are aware not everyone can afford routine vet care.

There will be no exam given to your pet.

We have the right to refuse any animal we do not see fit to vacciante due to health or behavior reasons and you will be refunded.

Dog Distemper
A combination vaccine approved for protection against canine distemper virus, adenovirus type 1 and 2, canine parainfluenza virus, and canine parvovirus
Cat Distemper
A core vaccine that protects cats against three viral infections-calicivirus, herpesvirus, and panleukopenia.

A huge THANK YOU to the amazing volunteers of Feline Friends of Ellwood City, Dr. Heere, and Reed’s Services for helping make our recent vaccine clinic a success! 🐾💙

Because of your hard work and dedication to the animals in our community, we were able to provide:
• 130 Rabies vaccines
• 20 Dog Distemper vaccines
• 25 Cat Distemper vaccines
• 3 Microchips

These numbers represent pets that are now safer, healthier, and better protected thanks to everyone who helped organize, volunteer, and support this event.

Vaccines play a critical role in protecting both pets and people. Rabies vaccinations help prevent a fatal disease that can spread to humans, while distemper vaccines protect dogs and cats from highly contagious viruses that can cause severe illness and death. Preventative care like this keeps pets out of shelters, reduces suffering, and helps create a healthier community for animals and their families.

Events like this are only possible because of dedicated partners and volunteers who give their time and expertise to help animals in need. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who showed up, helped organize, and supported this clinic.

Together, we’re making a difference for pets in our community. 🐶🐱
