We didn't get NEARLY enough pictures from the booth last night but when we say wait until you see the other photos coming from the Faery Ball.... yall... we have some amazing shots coming. We had such and AMAZING time at this wonderful event and are so honored to be part of it for a 2nd year! Thank you again to the amazing miss Suzanne Dummer Stafford for everything she does to support non profits and the arts in general!

ADOPTED!!!!
Our little Velvet bunny has a new home! He is now called Banana Smoothie! BIG B Smoothie is going to love his new owner… she has BIG plans to pamper and love this boy. Ky’laijah is extremely excited over her new roommate. Ky’laijah plans on training B Smoothie to hop on a leash so he can go on family outings.
We can’t wait to see the pictures of B Smoothie and Ky’laijah’s adventures!

Because a few people seem to want to know we are going to put this out there plain and clear as we always have. We are a state recognized non profit, we file our taxes, we keep our books, we follow the letter of the law to a T. We do not currently have our 501(c)3 as of yet. For those who do not know, that classification is just a federal recognition, it costs a few hundred dollars plus to apply for. That is a spare few hundred we do not have at the moment to simply make ourselves a tax exempt entity. The only other major plus to having our 501c3 in time will mean any donations can be claimed on the donors taxes and we would be able to apply for federal and state grants.

We are as grass roots as they come. We started this rescue from nothing, no funding, no savings, no investors, no grants or gifts. Just a dream, a drive, and a purpose to build this entity to continue to do good and help our community and the animals we love.

Having or not having that federal designation does not diminish nor put other entities above one another, it just means they had more money at the time and were able to get their status faster. We will continue to do our best, put ourselves our there and do our shows and pop ups to help the rescue support itself and where the events fall short, Mr. Zander and Mama T will continue to support out of their own pockets. While having our 501(c)3 is a huge goal and would be a boon for us as an entity our goal is and always will be being a safe haven for the animals that need it and a bastion of fun educational public works to help our communities learn about these amazing animals and hopefully help change a few hearts along the way.

Thank you all for your continued support and love, we will not let it be in vein.
