Hi!!
I got to work on this handsome gelding his name is Goliath!
He is a very special case, This was his first ever MFR treatment! He did amazing!
I didn’t think he would accept my help but he slowly decided to let me help him.He has a lot of trauma everywhere.
His owner rescued him and now he’s living in paradise!
At first he didn’t let me touch him anywhere but he let me in on his neck.Slowly but surely I was able to make it all the way to his poll and ears!( in the past before the current owner, they use to twitch his ears very abusive).
He is such a strong handsome boy taking a risk in trusting me to help him I’m so grateful for this opportunity to work on him!

I have been working on this lovely mare for about a month or 2 now and she is looking so much better just in 2-4 sessions!
This is DeeDee, she is a therapeutic horse, her owner does Parelli with her, and DeeDee helps disable kids!
I’ve only met one other horse that is as stoic as her ( my own horse, Horace)
she hides her pain very well, it took about 30 minutes for her to let me in and help her. She has a lot of trauma in her neck from a previous accident and we are working through it!
The more I work on her the more restrictions I see. So your horse may be having a little bit of an issue but in reality there is a whole layer of problems. It is like a cavity, you need to get all of it out in order to heal.
She has come a long way and she is doing so much better

Hey guys!
Just a couple of pictures from treatment yesterday at RVR Horse Rescue. The first pictures are before and the second are after. If my lines are not matching up with the pictures, I’m still figuring it out and learning. But I just wanted to show you guys what I look for in a Myofascial release treatment and show everyone how much their hips can get out of alignment.

They all had a hr and 30 mins long session and they did great! They feel so much better!
Of course they’re going to need more treatment but at least we’re heading in the right direction💞

How do you find Fascial restrictions on a horse?

1. I see 👀. I always observe a horse in motion and while still. I am evaluating gait, range of motion and fluidity, as well as conformation and stance. I do a before and after video to see change.
2. I feel ✋🏼. I use my hands to find areas of resistance and restriction. Applying gentle pressure can bring a positive reaction such as licking and and chewing, sleepy eyes, lowering their head, lips relaxing and releasing gas. Or it can be a negative response: flinching, ears pinned down, moving away in which case I ease up on pressure. But most horses love it and push into me because its a “good hurt”.

Hey guys! I wanted to share the story of how I met Horace.
The first time I met him I was 9 years old. I was a volunteer at RVR Horse Rescue and he was brought out there after being rescued from a neglect situation. As he got off the trailer, something in my heart just sparked and I knew we were meant to be together. After loving him as a volunteer, I finally got to adopt him, and I promised him I would love and take care of him forever. That was a really special day.
That was about 10 yrs ago and he has been my best friend ever since. He pulled me out of a really rough patch of my life and I don’t think I would be here if it wasn’t for him.
We always talk to each other. Its usually about food😂 but we chat about other stuff too! We just totally get each other.
Horace has a big personality he loves to be in charge and I have to always be aware and notice the littlest things with him, or he will take advantage. So he definitely keeps me on my toes
I wouldn’t have it any other way. He makes me laugh and even when he frustrates me I learn a lot about him and especially about myself. So even though Horace was rescued, I guess I could say I was too. 💕
