Carol Johnson has dedicated over 14 years to rescuing and protecting wild horses, often risking her own resources to save nearly a hundred horses and foals. Now, after years of selfless work, she’s facing the heartbreaking possibility of losing her home, which is also the safe haven for the horses she cares so deeply about.
We’re raising $26,500 to help her catch up on her mortgage and cover essential living expenses so she can stay in her home and continue her vital work. Seeing nine wild horses return recently reminded Carol that her efforts matter—and that her work isn’t finished.
