Whitney will be back to work at the start of September. Currently she will be working Monday's and Friday's and her schedule will adjust from there. Her booking is open online if you'd like to get on her books now or you can call and message and she will check in and answer messages as she can.

We’re still receiving a lot of calls asking if we’re really booked out until the end of July — and the answer is yes.

As of right now, Ryan has only one appointment remaining in June and two appointments left in July. Most new appointments are now being scheduled for August.

If you’re reading this, please try to get online and book your next 2–3 appointments in advance if possible. Availability will become even more limited in August, as my family and I will be away for a few trips during that time.

We truly appreciate everyone planning ahead and continuing to support us!

We are getting an uptick in calls asking if our online booking system is correct. Yes, we are out 2 months. No, we do not have anything sooner. Yes, we are more then happy to put you on a cancelation list. Yes, we highly recommend booking out 5-6 months so you can guarantee consistent appointments. We truly do appreciate everyone's patient's while Whitney is gone and i am doing this alone.

It's no April Fool's Joke Whitney leaves us here in less than 2 weeks and she is fully booked until then. She wants you all to know she will miss you as much as we will miss her. 😔 but we wish her luck on her break and look forward to her return this fall.

Just a reminder that our hours for this summer will be different and there will be fewer appointment slots available as Ryan will be our only groomer. We want to get everyone in as regularly as possible so if you have a schedule you like to keep your pet on or you can only make certain days work we HIGHLY recommend going online, texting, or calling us to get on the schedule and you can book out as many appointments as you need.

Currently Whitney's return date is Labor Day weekend and her part-time schedule is up for the rest of the year if you'd like to get on her books for then as well. We appreciate each and every one of our clients and we appreciate your cooperation with this transition.

We understand there is a lot of debate about fleas and ticks and how to handle them. Whether or not you use a flea and tick preventative is between you and your vet, as they will know what's best for your pets needs. What we can recommend is how to help outside of that option.

If you know you are going into a heavily infected flea/tick area there are pet safe bug sprays you can use to temporarily deter them. We also recommend giving them a bath in a flea and tick shampoo BEFORE and AFTER as they can help prevent and then kill off any eggs. The main concern we hear about bathing so close together is drying out your pets skin, and as long as you use a proper conditioning treatment after the shampoo and making sure your pets hair/skin is dry and then brushed bathing often actually won't hurt your pet. Feel free to reach out of you ever have any questions about which products to use.

Buy a flea comb, metal or plastic are both good, the plastic ones are cheaper but they don't last as long. Check EVERYWHERE and check twice! Ticks don't move around as much as fleas do but if your pet has long or thicker hair they may take a bit longer to bite down and crawl to a better spot if they can't get deep enough the first time.

Treat your house and your yard. Even if you just went on a hike and picked them up there it doesn't take much for a few eggs to fall off, and it doesn't take long especially as the weather warms up for them to hatch and breed again. Even a well kept yard, or mostly hardwood house can have a safe enough spot to incubate this little creatures before you even notice.

Don't be afraid or ashamed of them. It can happen to anyone and hiding the fact that your pets have fleas or ticks from your groomer and vet only runs the risk of harming your pets. While we currently are unable to give flea baths to dogs with active fleas, we can help with preventative baths or walk you through how to do it at home. We will remove ticks in the salon, but once we get over 3 we have to prompt you to remove anymore at the vet, as there may be other issues that pop up. We can also bag them up per your request if you wish to have them tested.

Bugs happen, and we want your pets to be as active as possible but as safely as possible. Major medical questions should always be directed to your vet, but we are always happy to help in any way we can.
