Update: Kidding season is a wrap!!

3/4- Fancy kidded with twin bucklings. 🙄 Rough kidding as both were wanting to come at the same time. Super thankful for my husband for holding Fancy still and our wonderful neighbor who was able to push them back and then I was able to go in and sort out who was who and get them pulled!

3/6- Posie kidded with twin doelings. Woohoo! I had to pull both. 2nd was breech. This was her first time kidding and she wanted NOTHING to do with them. Wouldn't even look at them. We cleaned babies up and locked them and mom up in hopes once we stepped away mom would do her job and she didn't. She escaped through a small opening. The 1st doeling has been touch and go the past few days but she's doing a lot better. Her 2nd doeling is doing quite well.

I will work on pictures soon! I had dental work done Friday and had to have a tooth pulled which took way longer than expected. I have been in an extreme amount of pain since then. Stay tuned!

Update!! We only have 2 does left to kid. Hallelujah!!

3/3- Mars kidded with twin bucklings. 🙄 I had to assist. Came out to just a head out and had to go in, find feet and pull him. Had to do some work on him to get him going and he is doing better than I expected. His brother was a pain as well I had to go in and adjust him as well. He is doing well.

Came back out later to check on them andddddd
-Nova had kidded with twin bucklings. 🙄 Big beautiful boys.

Around midnight went out to check on everyone and saw that Pansy had goo so she and Posie got separated into a smaller pen as they are not my friendliest does. Nothing happened before bed.

3/4- Pansy kidded with buck/doe twins. All by herself. Beautiful, beautiful kids and happy to have another doe.

Little update for everyone. We've had 3 does kid the last 3 days. A little rough start for our first year back. I pray the remaining kiddings go smoothly.

2/28- Matilda kidded prematurely with quad doelings. 2 DOA, 1 passed the first night and the last doeling born we currently have inside. My father and husband both assisted with this delivery as she wasn't quite ready.

3/1- Smidge kidded with buck/doe twins. I had to pull both kids, sadly we lost the doeling overnight and we had to bring the buckling in yesterday to warm him up. He is back with mom and doing well. The kids named him Velcro.

3/2- Neicey kidded with twin bucklings. 🙄 I had to pull the first buckling and then I had to call my neighbor to assist with the 2nd because he was bent in a "U" shape and trying to come out all at once. Super thankful for her to come to the rescue! Both bucklings are doing well and Mom is too.

Hey everyone, in as little as 7 days we could be expecting kids hitting the ground!! We are so excited for our 1st kidding season after taking a few years off! Stay tuned and if anyone local happens to have any old used towels we will gladly take them off your hands!

As some of y'all may know besides Nigerian Dwarf Goats we also raise Rabbits (Holland Lops, Rex/Continental Giant mixes and Rex Kits of Kaitlin's) Chickens & Coturnix Quail.
We have a TON of farm fresh eggs available.

HEY EVERYBODY!!! Sorry I've been MIA the past couple of years but I took some time off to focus on my family and to get some other stuff taken care of at the farm. I wanted to hop on here and let EVERYONE know I will be back on the grind and breeding 10 does to kid out in Spring of 2026🤞!
As some of you may know we bottle raise all of our kids because that is what works best for us here! We will be expecting lots of fun colors, blue eyes, moonspots and polled kids! I will be working on pictures this upcoming week. I've been insanely busy and haven't had time to do so.

But with that being said I still have some kids from this year that are 👀 for new herds, a couple doelings and quite a few bucklings/future wethers. I will also be parting with a few proven does as well. They can go with or without registration papers/applications.

I have a lot of updating to do y'all!! Kidding season ended Sunday morning with a set of triplet doelings!! Only the 2nd set of triplet doelings born on our place in the 19 years that I've been raising them!
30 total kids on the ground. Lots of babies will be
a v a i l a b l e. I will work on updated pictures this week. Stay tuned.

So things have been busy!!
Friday Sunny Daze Stormy Knight 3*M kidded with doe/buck twins and Western View Moonlit Night aka Kona kidded with doe/buck twins. Saturday Schulzs Rusty Acres Fancy kidded with twin doelings. Sunday Kids of Kaitlin's KK Lucy Maye kidded with buck/doe twins and Kids of Kaitlin's ZTS Poppy kidded with twin bucklings. That leaves 9 does left to kid!

Yesterday Kids of Kaitlin's ZTS Smidge kicked off kidding season with beautiful twin doelings but sadly 1 was stillborn. With that being said her doeling will be staying here. We are working on a name for her now. We have 14 more does to kid. Stay tuned y'all. ❤️
