Making the decision to retire has been difficult since I love all my pet parents and what I do so much. However, I have reached the age now where I don't feel I can do justice to the dogs. All of my dogs are now at home with Kimberly Ohse at Ozark Legends Newfoundlands. Kim loves all her dogs and treats them so well. She has a beautiful facility. It’s with heavy hearts that we share our mother, Julie Thomas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning. She passed peacefully in her home just as she wanted. We are forever grateful that she’s without pain and is experiencing peace that we can only imagine. She was loved by so many. She was always there to listen and offer help, her love for animals went unmatched, and her love for family will last in our hearts forever. A public graveside service will take place on Friday, February 28th, at 2:00 p.m. at Center Point Cemetery in Elkland, Missouri with a celebration of life after at Hip Pocket Pizza, 1132 S Ash St, Buffalo, MO 65622 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. We would love to see and visit with anyone who knew and loved Mom.

After a lifetime of raising and exhibiting several varieties of dog breeds, we acquired our first Newf in 1992 and were hooked. In 1994, we established our kennel dedicated solely to the Newfoundland breed. Our clean, well-maintained facility is home to some of the best International Champion bred Newfoundland dogs in the USA. Our spacious grounds are located in the heart of the Ozarks. A beautiful place to visit and we invite you to do so. We now have several homegrown AKC Champions to our credit. All of our adults are from top foreign and US bloodlines, and fully tested.

Our puppies are healthy with great temperaments that make beautiful adults that you can be proud to own as a pet or for show. Puppies are 2500 limited registration (not for breeding). Open registration is 3000, if approved. No co-ownership required. Watch the page for posts about new litters. We do not generally take advance deposits. Puppies are reserved based on the order of time and date deposits are received after birth. Our puppies go home after a 10 week heart check by our vet. Two shot series and clean f***l . Puppies are trained to a use a doggie door.
