We are excited to announce that we are again issuing Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) tax credits!
If you file a WV State tax return, and make a minimum donation of $500, you will receive a tax deduction voucher to use when you file your taxes. The tax credit is equal to half (50%) of the donation amount! So a $500 donation gets a $250 tax credit. A $1,000 donation gets a $500 tax credit, etc. Your donation will support low-income spay/neuter efforts in Randolph County and our Compassion in Action program, which provides emergency services to families who need it. Those services include straw during freezing temperatures, pet food and supplies, and many other things in order to keep pets and their families together.
Donations cannot be combined - they must be in lump sums of a minimum of $500. Your tax credit voucher will be sent to you by mail for use on your current year's taxes. Mail or bring your check to the shelter (PO Box 785, 195 Weese Street Extension in Elkins). Or donate online at bit.ly/rchsnip
