The week before July 4th is the worst time to start looking for a sitter.
By then, the good ones are booked.
Pets hear fireworks much louder than we do, and even calm dogs can panic when the booms start. July 5th is consistently one of the busiest days at shelters because of pets who bolt.
In-home care means your dog or cat stays in their own space, on their routine, with a familiar face scheduled right through the noise.
