Did a little trimming of all the Pothos I keep in the tanks to eat up Nitrates. Going to give it away if you’re interested, let me know. Just put the stems in the water, keep the leaves out of the water and you have an amazing way to keep the water clean.

Got my very first Flowerhorn. Still just a baby boy 3-4". I’ve been researching for months. I know he’s not competition quality, but he is my first one so I wanted to take it easy. Anyhow, I have no idea what to name him. Anyone have any suggestions??

Every once in a while you might have to trim your puffer’s teeth. These are Amazon Puffers (Colomesus asellus).
You just need toothache pain relief medicine that you can get at Walgreens and come cuticle cutters. 1 drop of meds to 1 cup of tank water. Give him a few minutes to pass out, cut teeth, put into another container of tank water with a bubbler. Once they are swimming around well, you can put back in home tank.

Someone asked how I do my sump tank. So here is a quick video on my set up. I really just watched a ton of videos on YouTube then customized to my needs.

When your pre filters are super clogged with gunk that won’t rinse out, what do you do? Toss them in your shrimp tank. Those tiny little pinchers get every little bit and they come out good as new! And free food for shrimp!
