Convenient to have all this aquarium stuff to set up a quick turtle tank. Just shuffled some fish around. The newest aquatic animal. Red Cheek Mud Turtle. He’s super cool.

Had this guy since he was about 2”. Getting to be pretty. First flowerhorn. Keeping them seems to not nearly as hard as people make it out to be.

Did a little trimming of all the Pothos I keep in the tanks to eat up Nitrates. Going to give it away if you’re interested, let me know. Just put the stems in the water, keep the leaves out of the water and you have an amazing way to keep the water clean.

Got my very first Flowerhorn. Still just a baby boy 3-4". I’ve been researching for months. I know he’s not competition quality, but he is my first one so I wanted to take it easy. Anyhow, I have no idea what to name him. Anyone have any suggestions??

Every once in a while you might have to trim your puffer’s teeth. These are Amazon Puffers (Colomesus asellus).
You just need toothache pain relief medicine that you can get at Walgreens and come cuticle cutters. 1 drop of meds to 1 cup of tank water. Give him a few minutes to pass out, cut teeth, put into another container of tank water with a bubbler. Once they are swimming around well, you can put back in home tank.
