Good News! Some Wicked cute is available at the shelter.

What is this feeling, so sudden and new… it’s the urge to adopt a sweet little fluff nugget (or two).

Adoptable babies Glinda and Elphaba can change your life for the better. Their foster mom tells us they are super cuddly and playful and have been raised around small children. They’ll have you Dancing Through Life in no time.

So, skip down the yellow brick road to the Hardin Co Animal Shelter at 220 Peterson Dr in E’town M-F 12-4pm.

Let’s get these beauties a home For Good.

Paws And Boots didn’t let weather stop them yesterday. Every adoptable dog got an hour walk despite a little rain. And, of course, the kittens got some ear rubs as well.

Shout out to two of the soldiers who spent extra time and effort with a couple of our adoptables.

The solider in the first pic, having a great Pyrenees at home and understanding how bad burrs in their hair are, took the time to give this sweetie a bath, so he could cut out the burrs.

The solider in the second pic found out this adoptable was super scared, terrified enough that she didn’t want to go outside. So this soldier swapped out her dog for this one so she could take it into an acquaintance room, sit down very quietly and just be very patient with this dog.

Special thanks to these two - and all our soldier friends who take the time to support the shelter and adoptables!

Meet June

She is a 2 year old spayed female that's kinda skittish and a little cranky to put it nicely.

June has been with us for a little while waiting for someone to need a barn cat so she can have a forever home.
If you think you could be the one to provide her a place to go with a nice warm shelter and a steady meal, please stop by the shelter Monday through Saturday 12-4pm and see the front desk.

Let’s show this little survivor what we’re made of friends. He needs a glorious forever ❤️
