Have you heard !?

Our next rabies clinic is officially set for Saturday October 4th from 10am-2pm at the Hardin County Fairgrounds!

This event is open to everyone no matter where you live.

We have just a couple simple rules to follow if you want to attend. Dogs must be on a leash and Cats must be in a carrier.

Other than that this event is cash or check only !
We have no way to take card payments during the clinic.

You can also get an advanced copy of the paperwork by stopping by the shelter Monday -Saturday 12-4pm or by emailing [email protected]

Dogust isn't over yet !

There's still time to stop by Pet Supplies Plus - Elizabethtown, KY before the month is over and make a monetary donation to our shelter.
And if our store is one of the top to collect then our shelter will receive 500 pounds of Science Diet pet food !!!

We have won the last 2 years and really want to make this the 3rd time in a row!

It's simple to just stop by their registers to donate and they can answer any other questions you may have

Huge shout out to this great group of young adults from the senior class at John Hardin high school, they walked all adoptable dogs, played and socialized with all of our puppies and kittens! They did such a awesome job!!

Meet King a 1 year old pit mix, he is such a handsome boy and he has the personality to match also! He is a active dog that loves his walks and does better with a harness then a leash. He is very smart knows basic obedience and very treat and toy motivated so easy to train new tricks to. He loves everyone he meets and good with other dogs too. If you need this royal guy in your life come on down to meet him!

72 days Dino has been waking up in a 4 x 6 kennel hoping that today will be his last morning in it. 72 days of watching people pass his kennel up. 72 days of watching family after family pick another dog but not him. 72 days of hope but ending in heartbreak. Please help Dino find his forever home, his person is out there we just need to reach them! Dino is a high energy dog so he would be perfect for someone who is active, he loves his walks but he can be a handful so he needs someone to be patient with him and willing to spend time to teach him how to be the perfect companion, he is very motivated by treats and toys and he loves to play fetch. Dino is very Loving and friendly to everyone he meets including other dogs. Dino will be very loyal to his person as he tends to stick to you, he just wants love from you and in return he gives it right back to you! Dino needs to find his forever home, please help him find it so we can prove to him that we have not and will not fail him!
