Laura Ligon has over 29 years of riding experience in a variety of disciplines such as western pleasure, ranch riding, dressage and showmanship. She owns and operates an equestrian facility in East Tennessee and has stepped back from competing herself to grow more as a judging professional. She is a level 2 Open Horse Show Association approved judge and has speciality designations in huntseat, western and in-hand divisions She strives to offer fairness to every exhibitor entering the pen.

🌳In the Trail Pen🌳

Jan Bellows has had a life long love of horses and the art of showing. With over 46 years of competing and training multiple disciplines and breeds from local levels to international levels, she truly enjoys judging and seeing people and horses find their best selves. She believes everyone deserves a fair chance to show their best performance.

Below are your current standings for 2025. We still have a lot of horse showing left to do! Be sure to have August 30th and November 1st on your calendars for our final two shows of the season.

Scoresheets are also included for your review. We had a bit of a mix-up on the cow sheets, but all dry work scoresheets are listed. Reach out with any questions!

🚨ITS SHOW DAY🚨

A few things to know:

✅Shirt sleeves are approved for today! (Must have collar and button up)

✅Complete registration at the announcers booth when you arrive.

✅Show starts PROMPTLY at 10am.

✅ALL CLASSES will run in order (no at will trail).

✅We will have a food truck available, so bring an empty stomach!

We have a ton of prizes today, so come ready to win!

Tomorrow’s show will have ONE judge. We will run each class IN ORDER (no at will trail) as we’ve done in the past.

We will do our best to keep things running as efficiently as possible given this update. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

We are also attempting to get a food truck secured, but pack a lunch just in case 💛

🌟MEET YOUR JUDGES🌟

Join us in welcoming back Mr. Biff Barrier. Biff is a well-known horseman of the east coast who’s been involved in the industry since 1979. He’s trained and prepared multiple National and World Champions. Mr. Barrier has judged a variety of shows throughout the country, with experience in various breeds and disciplines.

🌳In the Trail Pen🌳

Britt Register is a trainer and exhibitor of horses for the last 25 years. His amateurs and himself have shown multiple world and state champions. He holds judges cards for ARHA and ASHA and enjoys judging open, 4h and ranch horse shows. Traveling the country, meeting people, and getting to see good horses is a true pleasure of Britt's!

We hope you are excited as we are to welcome these two gentlemen to Evening Breeze Arena!

Unfortunately, the weather is not going to cooperate with us for the weekend.
