Godfather Gun Dogs is a Colorado State authorized and PACFA certified birddog training facility. We are devoted in developing bird dogs for the discriminating bird hunters and campaigning AKC horseback field trial dogs. We offer a year-round hunting dog training and boarding program to the public, as well as providing training class to dog owners and field trial competitors alike. We have over 20

years of success in training sporting breeds and offer special courses for sporting dogs that are field challenged. In addition to our training services, we are a breeder of an exquisite and highly successful line of field Brittany and English Pointers. We take pride in breeding and raising bird dogs that not only are eager to please but also possess striking physiques and overflow with natural abilities.

Solo in a 3y.o male broke dog. He is looking for a field trial home/owner to further his AA career. Solo has his juvenile win or placement to qualifies him in the open limited stakes. more pics in the comment.

Betsy is a super nice hard pointing bird dog, broke steady to wing at this time with a reliable natural back and a very nice retrieve. She is exposed to all type of prairie birds in training or hunting situation and we just finished this January in TX & NM.

Betsy runs a forward shooting dog race, she works hard on the ground yet easy to handle. She has many an hour working by foot, in front of a buggie or off horseback .

She has a great personality, level headed, wear a flat coat, dialed in nose, good brains, she is clean and quiet in the kennel.

Betsy is on Ivermectin year round, current on her vaccine(4-15-2026)

These are super well pups that have the brains, wheels and stamina. Both parents are naturally forward going All Age dogs with lots nose, point with intensity & style, these pups should develop early just like their parents. At this stage, pups are already swinging with me on their walks, turning by lip whistle. We would like to place them in field trial or hunting homes only. The seasoned dogs got to stretch their legs this morning, seemed like this warm spell brought out all their A game. The scenting condition was not all that fancy but a few dogs managed to dig up birds on the limb. Dog of the day is shared by Rita and Mac, both did a nice job and made their wingman to turn on the afterburners. Another great workout in the books

Finally having a cooler day to work a full morning, we made 7 bird contacts between the 8 dogs. The dog of the day goes to Mr. "T" with 2 finds and were flawless on his bird work. These 2024 first year broke dogs are coming together nicely. T is love by Layne and Diane Peterson

This will be our home on the prairie for the next 5 weeks. Richard and I finished setting up the camp, dogs are fed and the horses are clearing some of the over growth in the paddock. It's been a long day, I am signing off
