We started ESI & ENS on the "Breakfast 🥞 litter" yesterday! 📽️ posted on IG. ESI is known as Early Scent Stimulation. This is when newborn puppies (typically days 3–16 old) are briefly exposed to a different scent each day.

We do this to help them become more comfortable with novelty smells as they grow. It also helps them develop stronger scent processing abilities.

The puppy is allowed to react naturally for a few seconds and there is never any forced exposure (everything has to be done very gently!).

ESI is often paired with “ENS” (Early Neurological Stimulation), which involves mild handling exercises intended to support neurological development in puppies.

✨ We have personally seen positive results from this!

🥣 2.) Cereal names - Cheerios, lucky charms, oatmeal, etc

How many do you count on Aspen's x-ray? Today, we start checking Aspen's temperature 🌡️ twice per day then three times per day as it gets closer to her whelping window.

Jace is mowing the grass 🌿 outside while I set up the whelping box and finish organizing supplies. We have a busy day/week ahead of us while we prepare for this litter.

Puppies could be born between 📆 May 20th - 25th.
