Due to all the wonderful rain storms we have gotten this week, we are up to our ears in mud. For safety reasons we have closed for tours this weekend. Wondering who we are? We are not a non-profit or sanctuary. We are a small conservation center located in Elizabeth, Co. Our primary conservation efforts are based on animals from Australia. We currently have 6 different types of kangaroos and wallabies which includes species you will not find in any other zoos here in Colorado and very rare in other zoos throughout the United States. We also have many other animals found only below the equator which makes us very unique place to visit! Your visit includes everything, cuddles with a baby kangaroo, walk with a wallaby and hang out with reptiles and more! Be sure and reserve your spot today at equatorsedge.com. We are getting close to opening! With all the beautiful snow we have been having and now the mud, it has been impossible to open for tours yet. We have added several outreach programs to our website, so be sure and check out those options for winter time. We have added some new animals to the mix also, so will get busy and post some pictures of the new babies!
