To Our Friends and Neighbors:
The SPCA of NENC’s license has been suspended, and at this time we are required to work only with other shelters and rescues to ensure the animals are safe and cared for. We do not yet know if or when we will reopen, but we are committed to cooperating fully with the State as we move through this process.

Our love for the animals and our gratitude for this community remain strong. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time. Thank you to our sister shelters and rescues who are coming to our aid. 💙🐾

We want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has volunteered, donated, adopted, or fostered. We truly couldn’t do what we do without your support!

A special thank you goes out to the 32 amazing volunteers from Mid-Atlantic Christian University who joined us yesterday. They spent the day socializing cats, creating enrichment, and even walking dogs. Your hard work and kindness mean the world to us and to the animals in our care.

We are so grateful for this incredible community. You continue to inspire us every day! ❤️🐾
