Abe came home today.

Our 14 year old will forever be at this age and we will lay him to rest with our other rescues who passed before him. At his largest, he was 26lbs. We will never see his like again.

Thanks to Keith at Fox Valley Pet Cremation Services, LLC for being there in our time of need in taking care of Abe.

We are grateful for your help, always.

I am writing to share the devastating news of the loss of our cherished rescue, Abe. His passing on May 5th has left us heartbroken, and I have found it challenging to draft this post. Abe was an extraordinary member of our rescue family, and his immense presence will be irreplaceable. In the wake of this loss, we have made the painful decision to discontinue our rescue operations. While we will no longer be able to welcome new animals, we will strive to offer support and aid whenever possible. This decision was the result of a combination of factors. In honor of Abe, I have decided to share this photograph without a watermark. He is deeply missed.

We had a great time! You can see our table for a split second towards the end of the video. We were inside as to keep the "kids" warmer. We are right past the blow up spider around the 48 second mark! Thanks for those that came to hang out!

We are looking for an experienced home to take in an older male that needs some TLC.

He was found in Evenston. No one has come forward to claim him.

Drogan left us today, and went to hang out with Mr. Sunshine and several other House of Ig kids that were with us until it was their time to go.

We will miss him dearly but am thankful he had a good life and we believe he was around 13 years old.

Hug your critters tight, friends.......

Nova, a female and Stormy, a male need you! They will come with their enclosures, all you need to do is provide the attention, food and love!
