LongMile Aussies Just everyday people with super awesome Aussies. We promote healthy, genetically tested, home raised toy, mini, standard Aussies. Temperament is a top priority.

We critique all our dogs, a pet is a pet and only the best get to show or breed. ASDR and AKC Miniature American Shepherd All my dogs receive the best care and are fully immunized, on a strict worming schedule. All pups receive an early Parvo vaccine and a 5 way immunization prior to leaving our home. We register through American Stock Dog Registry and American Kennel Club. Pet only registration p

apers are always available on our pups if desired. We have a spay\neuter program for all pets. We are proud to share parents pedigree, proof of OFA and genetic testing. Our goal is to produce healthy purebred dogs with that will live a long healthy life and are willing to stand behind that with a replacement pup for the first 5 years. I love dogs and they are spoiled. Pups spend the first 6 weeks in my house and then they spend quality time in the yard exploring natures wonders. We only have a few litters per year as we pair breeding's for potential show quality dogs. Did I mention I love to show my dogs! Because our pet pups go quickly we accept pre-deposits (pre-deposits can be refunded if the next available litter does not have a pup you are interested in). Once the pups have been evaluated we offer pet candidates. We encourage you to come by and pick a furry and then we keep you updated by sending pictures, videos and video chat anytime. Pups come with a goody bag, food, health records and lifetime support. Breeding rights are seldom offered as we are very picky, this type of pup must be high quality. We do at times have real nice young adults or retiring dogs available, let us know if you want to skip the baby stag. We would love to have you join our furry family! Give us a call!

Lets talk about that invisible bond between us and our dogs. Did you know that your dog instinctively reads your moods, joy, anxiety and stress levels. People often blame the dog for behavior issues when the dog is simply reacting to the human's vibes. Like the old saying goes, never trust someone your dog does not like. It is true they can "sense" things much better than we can. Animals "read" the situation.

Be an observer of how your dog changes when you are excited, relaxed, worried or in a rush. They will mirror you.
I had a long talk with a friend recently about learning to settle herself, be calm, just breath, especially before working with your dog. If you are worried about life stress, the dog will already be on guard before you start training. It is just as important to speak to the dog respectfully and praise them. Calling a dog dumb dumb, dork, carries a demeaning tone and they do hear that deeply.

So, watch you people friends and their dogs. It is interesting.
