I broke a bone in my back in July 2023 and it has had a ripple effect. Every day is a bit of a struggle. Handling and grooming large dogs is now too hard on me.

Rescues don't call me back. These dogs have been available for a long time. One rescue got mad because I placed one of my females that we had discussed, so I didn't place any for 8 months while I waited for them to pick them up, so they could have pet homes. That was a while ago. I still have them. Breeder release is a normal practice of finding pet homes for former breeding dogs.

Dakota had a bloat and emergency surgery at CVets. Her stomach was tacked so it should not happen again. I caught it very fast. She had no damage. She went through surgery like it was nothing. Fully recovered.
