Original pups Shorty, Beemer and Tucker turn sweet 16 today!! Join us in celebrating their awesomeness. Shorty and Tucker have been with me 12 years and Beemer was the first pup Rico and I took in together about 8 years ago. These boys are total love bugs and bring joy to everyone who meets them!!

This gorgeous guy is Sammy. He is a permanent resident here through Low Rider Dachshund Rescue. Today is a monumental day for him!!! Please help celebrate the fact that Sammy not only stood up, wagged his tail and then proceeded to WALK for about 6 feet!!!!!

Have been working on this for 4 years!!!

We love Sammy if he walks or doesn’t but for his health it is so good to see him regain some ability!!!

Cheer him on to his next steps!!!

Thankful for my husband and Daddy to the pups. Rico you rock and are our rock he busts his buns to make sure our pack has what they need. He’s the perfect best friend and partner. We miss you and will celebrate when you get home. Stay tuned for our Thanksgiving and Bernie Birthday…just need to hold for Daddy to celebrate!!

On the Eve of Thanksgiving…we are so Thankful for each pup that comes to us. They are so special and so loved. When precious Lewis just needs to snuggle with Mama…well I rock him until my arm cramps up and then a little longer.

We are thankful for all of the support we receive- well wishes, wish list items, donations and funds to support the babies.

Thanksgiving is also Bernie’s Birthday! He will be 8 tomorrow. We received a Birthday box from First Mom Bev…we can’t thank her or love her enough. We will post some photos tomorrow of Bernie enjoying his gifts!!!

Thank you so much to all you have reached out. We are all safe, pups slept through most of the storm. We now have all services back and wow the tree cutters worked so hard to get all the roads clear in our neighborhood.

We are grateful that we came out ok. Some of our Rescue partners did not. We are waiting g for information and will help all we can.

Together, we are making a difference in the lives of broken wiener dogs! We focus on paralyzed Dachshund dogs. Our mission is to provide a loving home when they are given to rescues, shelters, owner surrender and to save them from euthanasia. It all started with one injured Doxie. Vienna taught me that quick action, love and patience are the foundation for healing. With a background in medicine and massage, I have developed Regenerative Therapy techniques that are giving paralyzed dachshunds a second chance to enjoy quality of life!
