3 weeks ago we picked up this new Anatolian Shepherd for a new guardian for our livestock but the next day she ended up going into labor. We didn't know she was pregnant and neither did the previous owner. But we believe the stress of moving homes and being in a new place pushed her into premature labor. The puppies were so small at birth and one was even stillborn that wasn't even formed all the way. But with some prayers to God and many tears later these puppies are doing amazing. They've more than tripled in size and she has started producing an abundance of milk for them. Unfortunately she gave birth to 9 puppies but only 2 have survived. I take this as a win and not a loss just due to the fact we managed to help any of them survive. They will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. They have opened their eyes and are active rollie pollies lol.
