Simple and fun for fur friends. Take an Amazon box and put treats / kibble in the box. Tape box shut (if easy for friends). Put taped side down and cut a few holes in the box (large enough to get items to fall out). Set it on floor and enjoy the show.

Great for fur friends. Take a plastic bottle and few holes on the sides (large enough to allow kibble to fall out). Open bottle and put kibble / treats inside of it and screw top back on bottle. Place on ground and watch the fun.

One great mental stimulation activity is the burrito roll. Take an old towel, open it up and put treats / cut up hot dogs/ cheese on the towel. Roll towel up placing some as you roll it. Before last roll place sides of towel over the rolls and tuck them in. Do final roll tight and place on floor to watch your fur friend have so much fun.

Sure, this post will bring out haters and upset many other "dog trainers", however it must be done. In Illinois there are no requirements to call yourself a "dog trainer". This means that anyone can say they are and charge you for it. Please understand there are many certified Dog Trainers out there and ask for the credentials and check that they are being honest. At Weights & Wags all the Coaches (trainers) are certified through CCPDT and ABC Service Dog training. This is in addition to many other degrees and experience in the world of work outside of training. With the certifications comes the training, internship, and continual education in the training area to maintain certification. So, in short, please check into every trainer / place that you are considering building your forever team.
