NY State Fair day #10 Elizabeth had Showmanship with Hazel. In a very very deep class, I think there were 13 or 14, she got 6th. Congrats to one of her goatie friends for winning Master Showman this year. 💕 Some extra care needed for Dove. It was cold and chilly. We sat at the Raffle kid table too! Come win a super cute baby goat!!!

NY State Fair day #8!! We welcomed 7 new (Belle & Shadow) beautiful pups to the farm. Elizabeth and Hazel were famous on the stage at the Tractor Trivia booth. Apparently they had asked for anyone who wanted to win the contest to bring a goat. Someone ran towards the petting zoo, Elizabeth ran for the one and only, love of her life, Hazel! Sad that I missed it, but Belle needed me home. The start of the milk contest was last night also.

4H Goat Show, day 5!!! What a whirlwind. Never been so excited to run for paperwork. Juniors were wiggly but had a good first experience. Roxie, Yahtzee, and Almond showed well, but just weren't quite up to par. Mo won the 2 yr old Alpine class. Smudge won her aged Alpine class and was Reserve best of breed. Dove won her age group and was Reserve best in breed Nubian. Elizabeth and the girls had a great day. Special thanks to Hannah, for handling some of our girls. 💕 The storm rolled in and I drove home to ensure that the homestead was still in one piece.
