💙 Huge congratulations to my client and friend Pilar Lozano Hanes and her young gelding Apollo on their very first WDAA World Show together! 💙

Pilar has trained with me so faithfully for the past two years, pouring her heart and soul into this horse and this journey. Apollo is especially meaningful to me since I bred, raised, and started him prior to Pilar purchased him, seeing the two of them grow together has been such a blessed journey.

They may not have brought home a ribbon this time, but the grace, perseverance, and light Pilar carried into the arena were truly a win of their own. I know God has great things ahead for this pair, and I’m so proud of the foundation she’s building with Apollo. The best is yet to come. ✨🐴🙏

🌟 Huge congratulations to my junior client Kira Hanes and her horse HS Topsailing Chex on winning a World Championship at the WDAA World Show! 🌟

This one is extra special for me. Dr Pepper was purchased from me a few years ago, and Kira has been dedicated in her training with me ever since. At just 16 years old, she took on a challenging horse and never gave up. Through patience, hard work, and grit, she overcame every obstacle and came out on top.

I couldn’t be more proud of the partnership they’ve built and the success they’ve earned. Way to go, Kira—you’ve shown exactly what it means to rise to the occasion! 💙🐴✨

At Old Glory Performance Horses in Elbert, CO, we’re now accepting a limited number of new clients for our October training spots.

We specialize in Western disciplines including Reining, and Western Dressage—and offer a unique program built around deep horsemanship education. This isn’t just about riding circles—we explore the why behind every movement:
→ Training philosophy
→ Equine behavior
→ Rider biomechanics
→ Human psychology

With 20+ years of experience, I’m passionate about helping adult amateurs grow in confidence, develop soft, willing horses, and achieve long-term results. I also welcome green and problem horses for behavior-focused development.

💥 NEW: We’re now offering riding lessons on a safe, educated horse for youth ages 14–18 and adult amateurs. This is a great opportunity for new riders to learn foundational skills in a supportive, knowledgeable environment.
