She headed off to a new trainer this weekend. These extremely reactive restarts are something I’ve worked hard to not to work with at this time. With my focus on show horses, she just doesn’t fit into my program. We wish the absolute best for her and her family as they move on to new endeavors!

Everyone got the day off today. Except for Roxy. Roxy never gets a day off 😂 I work with her 3-4 times a day for very short periods. Today I could scratch her with the giant tumble w**d and she actually touched her nose to my flag. Progress!

I was sent this by a friend and I love it. I told her I feel that most MAJOR training issues are a mismanagement of the horse. Not providing adequate turnout, not approaching as a confident leader, not being a solid foundation. These things matter, and I strive to provide these communicationalpavesroned to each horse in order to press forward towards our goals.
