Here we are at the threshold to the weekend, why don’t you come say hello to some new furry friends? Here pictured are our only two cats in house. Cosmo (the first photo) and Jasper (second photo) are ready to find their furever homes! They came to us intact and an unknown vaccination history. All of this will be provided by us through the SNIP Van. These are two of the snuggliest babies around are guaranteed to make your heart melt.

Hello Everyone!

Tomorrow is our National Night Out and we are looking forward to seeing everyone. As you may know, our shelter is full and we are looking to clear out our shelter! Come on by tomorrow to adopt your newest family member as some of our longest residents may have a discounted adoption rate!

More Info: These babies are pittie mixes and are 8 weeks old. Adoption applications are still needed in order to be eligible to adopt them.

We have 10 babies and mama that were just brought to our shelter. All puppies have a waived adoption fee due to us being well over capacity. They will be featured at National Night Out on Tuesday, so stop by and get your new baby 😍😍

🩵Kitty of the day🩵

This is Saturn! He came to us ill but he bounced back and is a force to be reckoned with! He loves playing (and sticking his toys in his water dish). He is very friendly, although he doesn’t like to be picked up all that much. He does, however, like to perch himself on your shoulder like a parrot 💛

Whoever ends up with this boy will surely have their hands full, but how can you deny his cuteness? Just look at that face! If you are interested in meeting him, contact the shelter and we can schedule and meet and greet!

🩵Good Afternoon💛

We were surprised this morning to see that Miss Athena (the hound that came in Monday) has given birth to four beautiful puppies!! We will be moving her into our neonatal room in the shelter until we find a new home for her and the puppies.

Our spotlight of the day belongs to Boo and Coco! These sisters are attached at the hip after a long battle of sickness. Boo can only see shadows, so she seeks comfort from her sister. ‼️STRAY ALERT‼️

These are the two hounds that we posted earlier this afternoon. They are both female, no identification on. They were found at the intersection of 40 and 601. Please contact the shelter if these are your babies. Also, please note that we are at FULL capacity and cannot house another single dog due to the state vet protocols, which we have to legally abide by.

Thank you all for your attention on this matter! Should you encounter a dog running at large, please do not take him/her into your custody unless you can take care of the dog until we have the room again.

Happy Monday!

A gentleman picked up these two hounds, a male (first picture) and a female (second picture) they were picked up off route 40 in Spring Grove. Baby girl had a collar at some point, but it wasn’t on her at the time of the pickup. Baby boy did have a collar on, however, there was no information on it. As we do not have space in the shelter, he is going to be holding onto them for us. If these are your dogs, please contact the shelter and we can direct you to Mr. Sawyer. Thank you!
