Tommy was diagnosed with congenital bilateral cataracts. Both eyes have mature cataracts that cover the entire lens, resulting in him being completely nonvisual.

Our ophthalmologist, Dr. Joyce Wang at VCA Advanced, evaluated Tommy and found that he is a candidate for cataract removal and intraocular lens implantation surgery! This surgery would give him sight!🥹

Dr. Wang has performed successful cataract removal surgery and intraocular lens implantation for a kitten for us in the past, Jack. So we know she is well qualified and capable of performing the surgery💪

Tommy needs cataract removal + intraocular lens implantation surgery in both eyes. He also requires advanced retinal diagnostics prior to the surgery to ensure that his retinas are functioning properly.

The total amount we need is $8700… which is a lot. But if we have the opportunity to remove Tommy’s disability and give him a life with greater independence, accessibility, freedom, and ease, we want to try and give that to him!🥹🙏

We are in the process of applying for grants to cover part of his surgery and/or diagnostics! So hopefully that will work out and we can lower our goal amount!🙏🤞

Tommy is the sweetest boy and deserves this chance🥹🙏

Can you Open your home to Amy & Jo?🙏

Amy & Jo were adopted from us 3 years ago! Their family is moving out of state and needs a place for them to stay for a few months until they get moved into their new home🙏

Amy & Jo are healthy and up to date on vaccines! They are very social and adored by their family, including 2 young kids🥹

Can you foster Amy & Jo for a few months?🙏😻

All food, litter, and all supplies will be provided! We just need a safe place for them to hang out for a few months🙏

Welcome newest disabled BKR baby, Lola😻

Lola is paralyzed in her hind legs and incontinent. We don’t know why, but she will be seeing our neurologist to hopefully get some answers🙏

Her hind legs have no muscle and no feeling or response. So it is likely either congenital or a spinal injury that occurred when she was very young.

She came to us all the way from Montgomery, TX! This is the first kitten who has ever come to us by plane✈️😆 And that is thanks to the amazing transport group SWAP Transportation and Rescue and amazing volunteers 😻🙏

The stars really aligned to get this girl here to give her the care and life she deserves to have🥹💫 And it took a village to come together to make it all happen!💪

She’s a tiny girl weighing in at barely 1 lb, but has a big personality, big purr, and big love🥹😻

I’m so glad she’s here and to be on this journey with her🥰 You are so loved, Lola!!😻

Moira is the sweetest cuddle bug! Loves pets and is the ultimate lap kitty. She’s the happiest in your lap being pet constantly, and drools of happiness. She is the more outgoing one and is friendly to anyone she meets! M

Delia is the most playful kitty! Just loves playing fetch and playing with her mice toys. When she’s not playing, she’ll be laying next to you enjoying being by your side along with pets. She’s chatty and loves to talk to you! She takes a bit more time to warm up to you, but is so sweet once she’s comfortable!

Moira & Delia are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and ready for their forever home!
